A pretty fun Reddit post that contains a potted history of the evolution of Second Life. I've had an account for a good chunk of that time and it all reads about right to me.
Good little reddit thread about what "modern" packages there are that someone with an older configuration might be missing out on. My Emacs config started in 1994, got a reboot around 2017, and so is well over 30 years old in total and around 10 years old in its current incarnation.
I might benefit from this.
Recently I had a need to finally use a VPN (no, not for that reason -- it was the opposite; I wasn't in the UK and needed to appear to be) and so gave Proton a spin. When using it I noticed that while the Reddit app worked, sometimes, it wouldn't update stories for hours.
Seems this isn't uncommon.
Reddit thread where the Textual Markdown widget was announced.
Also includes the rather hilarious comment "I wish there were more full blown app examples out there", back when Textual was pretty damn new and barely out of the initial "CSS branch" release.
